If I were to provide some constructive criticism, it would be that minor maintenance items did tend to get pushed aside.
Mark and Reuben are nice guys that do seem to genuinely care about their tenants and the service they receive. While sometimes the constraints of being the go-between tenants and landlord does seem to limit how far they can go in order to keep everyone happy, it is understandably the nature of the business.
My husband and I recently moved into a property managed by Stone & Browning and it has been such a great experience! Alicia was super friendly and helpful. Even after move-in she has checked in to see how we like the house, and how some recent major life events have panned out. It's so great when a property manager takes a personal interest in the tenants. Move-in was a breeze with Stone & Browning, too. I loved that we could sign the lease online, contact the staff with any questions, and pay our deposit online. Paying rent online each month is an added bonus! We are very happy!
Most landlords are interested in your rent check -!not these guys! They are genuinely interested in keeping good tenants and making sure their time in the unit is by far the best. They bend over backwards to help folks find and affordable apartment that meets their needs. A great big thumbs up for actually caring and making renting a good experience for all!
Lastly, and this one is important, if you take good care of the unit you rent from Stone & Browning, you can expect your security deposit to be returned to you. Most landlords tend to find ways to keep the security deposit any way they can, but Stone & Browning are very fair in this regard.
This is the second time working with them. I cannot express how much Alicia, and The Stone & Browning crew have taken care of me in finding a new place. It was a all of the sudden move for me so I appreciate them doing the best job in making the move easy and non stressful. I would recommend anyone to rent from there property management company. As someone who rented from over 10 different landlords/property management companies, Stone and Browning were one of the best.
They provide a web portal to easily pay your rent each month. They make themselves available to tenants on a round-the-clock basis, especially if it is an emergency situation. And they will go above-and-beyond for their tenants when special circumstances arise.
Rueben and Mark have been extremely helpful throughout the whole process. I moved from Rhode Island, and they made the process from beginning to end comfortable and easy. I had less that two weeks to move, and they listened to what I wanted and needed in a property, and set me up in a beautiful apartment. They even did renovations to the whole three bedroom place within two weeks!! They are always willing to help when needed, listen to your concerns, and provide you with a fantastic property to call home. I highly, highly recommend Stone and Browning Property Management to anyone! I'm super lucky I found them!!
