Really amazing ... an experience of the immense. Excellent quarry tour, super informative. We were there after the plant part closed for the day, so we're looking forward to going back during operating hours. The gift shop was less specialized than I was hoping for, just mostly generic Vermont merchandise, but nice.
It was cool to see how pieces of rocks turn into tombstones through various steps. The history of this company is described through pictures and stories on the wall. There are some nice examples of finished rocks on display out in the garden.
Somewhat informative displays. Usual assortment of dust collectors for sale. 40+ minute tour of the quarry was too long for me. Toilets available.
Very interesting place. Although we did not take the tour to the quarry we did visit the plant and the outdoor granite bowling alley is fun.
It was closed but there was someone there who gave us driving directions. They were helpful and friendly. The quarry was unusual to see. We were happy we were able to drive by and see this even though we missed the tours.
